Last Friday, my nephew Gibo brought me to one of his favorite place to eat and hang-out at Rib Breaker to try their Baby Back Ribs which according to him is the best.
Rib Breaker is located at the back of the satellite clinic of Riverside Medical Center along Mandalagan, Bacolod City. I guess the name Rib Breaker was coined from one of the favorite moves of the owner in Jiu-jitsu. Just kidding!
Actually, the ambiance of the place reminds me of the restaurants of station 2 of Boracay where you can dine out together with your family and friends under a moonlight. The people in charge of the place were very accommodating and friendly too. I can tell that they have a lot of regular customers because everybody knows everyone in Rib Breaker.
Rib Breaker serves a combo platter which cost around Php 110 for a half slab of Baby Back Ribs and ½ cup of garlic rice with mashed potato on the side. We ordered two combo meals with bottomless iced tea and the experienced was unforgettable.
It’s amazing how the meat just slides off the bones. As I was eating, I have this funny feeling that as if the meat just melts inside my mouth. I am no Baby Back Ribs expert but for me the taste was perfect.
I have been to a lot of rib restaurants but I think Rib Breaker sauce tops. Indeed, when it comes to food, no doubt we have to trust Gibo’s choice.
